Ispat Industries Ltd, Bombay

Our office is situated in the PWD Colony, specifically at number 10, along Kandla Road in Radhanpur. We are quite close to the Government Rest House, which is usually the easiest way to tell people where to find us. This part of the Patan district can get very hot, so we spend a lot of our time making sure the coolers are running right. The building is a standard structure you’d expect in a colony like this. We are one of the branches for Ispat Industries Ltd, specifically the Bombay division, but we are out here doing the ground work. The road outside is often busy with trucks heading towards Kandla, so there is a constant rumble of engines in the background. Our setup inside is very basic. We have a few wooden desks, some old chairs, and stacks of ledgers that seem to grow every week. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s about getting the entries made and the reports sent out. The staff here has been together for a while, so we have our own way of doing things. We take our lunch breaks together and usually talk about local news or the weather. It is a straightforward place to work, and we like being near the main road because it makes logistics a bit easier for everyone involved.
