Banas Steel Pvt. Ltd.

We are located over at Plot No. 125 and 129 in the GIDC Estate. Having two plots means we are always walking back and forth between them throughout the day. Banas Steel Pvt. Ltd. is a busy place with a lot of heavy lifting. We have stacks of steel that seem to go on forever. The sun really bakes the metal in the afternoon, so it gets incredibly hot if you touch it without thick gloves. We have a big crane that does most of the hard work, but we still end up pretty tired by the end of the shift. The ground is just hard dirt and concrete, and it gets quite muddy when it rains. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just some old calendars on the wall and a water cooler that barely stays cold anymore. The office is just a small cabin near the gate where we handle the paperwork and bills. Sometimes the trucks get backed up waiting to load, and the drivers sit around chatting with us. We know most of the people in this part of the estate because we've been here for many years. It’s a lot of noise and sweat, but we like the work well enough to keep going. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our sign out front that's a bit faded. It’s just us doing what we do every single day.
