Samrika Steel Engineers

You can find us at Plot No 132 inside the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. Samrika Steel Engineers is basically a small group of us working with steel most days. The estate is a busy place with a lot of noise and activity. We’ve been at this plot for a good stretch of time. The work is physical and can be pretty tiring, especially when the sun is beating down on the roof. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that, just a few big fans to keep the air moving. Every morning starts the same way, checking the schedule and getting the tools ready. We handle a lot of different projects, some small and some a bit bigger. There’s always the sound of metal clanging or someone calling out across the floor. We don't really have a front office, so if someone comes by, they usually just walk right into the work area. It’s a bit dusty and the walls could use a new coat of paint, but we’re more worried about the work itself. Most of the other businesses in Dediyasan are similar to ours, so we all get along pretty well. We share the same problems like traffic or the power going out. We aren't trying to be anything we're not. We just do the steel engineering work that comes our way and try to keep things moving along. It’s a steady job in a busy industrial park. We just take it day by day here.
