Nilkanth Steel Industries

We are located at units 244 and 245 in the Dediyasan Industrial Estate. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is all about heavy work. Nilkanth Steel Industries is basically a big shed where we handle a lot of metal every single day. The sound of hammers and cutting machines is pretty much the soundtrack to our lives. It’s not a place for someone who likes peace and quiet. The ground is always a bit dusty from the iron filings. We have a small crew of guys who have been with us for years. They know the machines better than anyone else. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most of the time, we are just busy making sure the orders are ready for the trucks that come in the morning. The industrial estate can be a bit confusing to navigate because all the buildings look the same. We just tell people to look for the big blue door. Sometimes we sit outside on old crates during the tea break just to get some air. It’s tough work and the heat from the forge makes it even tougher in the summer. We just do our bit and try to keep things moving. It’s a simple, hardworking place with no frills.
