If you find yourself in Hutta Colony, you can come across Shaik Steel at 95/3/45. It’s tucked away in a spot that isn't exactly easy for outsiders to find, but the locals know the way through the lanes. We deal with steel, which means our hands are rarely clean and the shop is never really tidy. There’s a lot of heavy lifting and the constant sound of metal clanging together. It’s a rough environment, but it’s where we feel at home. We don’t have a website or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. If you call, you’ll just get one of us, and we’ll tell it to you straight. Hutta Colony is a tight-knit place, and we’ve been here long enough to feel like a permanent part of the landscape. We don’t believe in using big words or marketing tricks to get people through the door. We just show up, do the physical labor, and head home when the sun goes down. The office is just a small partitioned area with a couple of chairs and a fan that squeaks when it’s on high. It isn't much to look at, but it’s where we handle the bills and talk to our regulars. We aren't trying to be the biggest steel supplier in the country. We’re just a small shop trying to do right by our families and our neighbors. It’s hard work, but it’s our work, and we’re okay with that.
