Located right near the Kharkhana Mazid in Devinagar, Bellary, our place is part of the Moulasab Compound. It’s a busy area and the dust from the road is just something we live with every single day. Being at S/O Bheemappa’s spot means there’s a bit of history to the walls here. We don't have any shiny signs or anything that looks too corporate. It’s just a yard and some rooms where we handle the steel business. In Bellary, the heat is the main thing you have to deal with. By noon, the metal is too hot to touch without thick gloves, and the air feels like it’s standing still. We sit in the office with a small fan humming, trying to keep the ledger books straight. The masjid nearby is a good landmark for people trying to find us for the first time. We get trucks coming in at odd hours, and the drivers usually need a glass of water and a place to sit for a minute. It’s not a complicated life we lead here. We just focus on the steel and the people who need it. There’s always someone coming by to talk about a project or just to check prices. We don't use big words or try to act like we’re something we aren't. It is just a local business trying to stay afloat and keep the community supplied. Sometimes the noise from the compound gets a bit loud, but you stop noticing after a few months.
