You can find us at the Arihant Complex on Hampi Road. It is a good location because it’s easy for the trucks to get in and out. We specialize in refractory materials, which basically means bricks and things that don't melt when they get really hot. It’s a bit of a niche business but there are always factories and workshops that need our stuff. The warehouse stays full of heavy bags and crates. Moving them around is a real workout and we do a lot of it by hand. We don't have any of those fancy automated systems, just some basic manual lifts and our own strength. The dust from the materials can get on everything, so we're always brushing off the desks. We have a small corner where we can sit and talk with customers about what they need for their furnaces or ovens. It’s mostly technical stuff but we try to explain it simply. We’ve been here on Hampi Road for several years. The complex is always humming with activity in the mornings. We know the other shop owners and we often share a cup of tea in the afternoons. We don't bother with sales teams or advertising campaigns. We just wait for the phone to ring or for a customer to walk in the door with a problem we can solve. It’s a plain, honest business. We hope to be here for a long time.
