Our office is tucked away in the Donimalai Township, specifically at Type-Iii/28. It’s a quiet area out here in the Sandur-Taluk part of Bellary district. Living and working in the township is different from being in a big city. You get used to the pace of things in Karnataka. We handle the local bits of Nmdc Limited from this spot. It isn't a big glass building or anything, just a practical space where we can get our work done without too much fuss. Being out in the 583118 pin code means we are close to the actual operations. You see the same faces every day, which is nice in its own way. We spend a lot of time on the phone or working through documents that come across the desk. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet gets slow, but that’s just how it is here. We make do with what we have. Most of the staff live nearby, so the commute is just a short walk or a quick ride. It makes the workday feel more like a community effort than just a job. We handle whatever needs doing for the site. It’s honest work, and we don’t try to make it sound like more than it is. Just a small team in Bellary keeping things moving forward as best as we can. We’ve been here for a while now and know the ropes.
