M/S Hospet Steels Ltd. is situated in the 15th Ward of Hospet, specifically at the Maddibarmappa Plot. If you are looking for us, we are right near the Shri Krishna Lodge, which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. The office is run by the son of Esub Saheb. It’s a busy little spot in a part of town that always feels like it is on the move. Being near the lodge means there are always new people walking by and plenty of noise from the nearby shops. We deal with the steel trade, so things can get a bit messy and loud. Our office isn’t much to look at from the outside, just a door among many others, but inside we are always keeping track of loads and shipments. The weather in Hospet can be really tough, very hot and dusty, so we just try to keep the place as cool as possible. We have a lot of ledgers and physical notebooks because we still like to write things down by hand sometimes. It feels more reliable that way. The guys here have been working together for a long time, so we don’t need to say much to know what needs to be done. We just open up in the morning, get the tea going, and start the day.
