Our office is in Room Number 18 at Amala Nivas, which is right near the OPD at Vims Hospital in Bellary. The pin code here is 583104. It’s a bit of a different spot for a steel company office since we’re so close to the hospital. There’s always a lot of people around, and you can hear the sounds of the city all day long. The room itself is quite small and we have to be careful not to trip over each other when it’s busy. We handle the local Jsw Steels business from this little base. We have a few desks, some old filing cabinets that squeak when you open them, and a lot of logbooks where we track everything. It’s not a polished corporate environment, but it gets the job done. We often grab a quick lunch from the stalls near the hospital gates. The food is spicy and cheap, which suits us just fine. We spend most of our time on the phone or talking to people who drop by with questions about orders. It’s a very hands-on way of working. We don't have any fancy mission statements or slogans. We just try to stay organized and make sure the paperwork is in order before we leave for the day. Bellary is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat, but we’ve all been here for years and wouldn't have it any other way.
