It’s a fairly quiet spot compared to the main roads, which we appreciate. J S W Steels Ltd has been operating from this location for quite some time. The building itself is easy enough to spot once you get into the lane. We don't have a big neon sign or anything like that. Inside, it’s pretty basic. We have our desks set up and we just get to work every morning. The weather in Hospet can get really hot, so we usually have the windows shut to keep the dust out. There is a lot of mining and industrial talk around here, so that’s usually what we hear about in the local cafes. Our team isn't huge, but we stay busy. We don't spend much time on fancy presentations or decorating the walls. We just keep our files in order and handle the phone calls as they come in. Sometimes the cows wander into the street outside, which slows things down a bit for anyone driving by. It's just a regular office in a regular neighborhood. We know the shopkeepers nearby and stop for tea once in a while. Most people who come to see us are locals or have business at the tax office nearby. It’s a practical place to be.
