Saroj Brick

Saroj Brick is located in Village Matiali. We are right near the post office, which is a good landmark if you are looking for us. Living and working in a village like this means everyone knows each other. The pace is a bit slower than the city, which suits us just fine. We spend our days out in the field mostly. The ground is often red with the clay we use. It gets stuck to your boots and stays there. Near the post office, it stays pretty quiet except for when the mail comes through. We have our stacks of bricks lined up in rows across the land. It takes a lot of time to get them right, but we don't rush it. Sometimes the rain slows us down, and we just have to wait for the earth to dry out again. We don't have a fancy website or any of that. We just rely on people knowing where we are in Matiali. If you walk past the post office, you can't miss the stacks. It is a family-run kind of thing, where we all pitch in to get the orders ready. We don't use big words or try to act like we are something we are not. We just make bricks and sell them to whoever needs some for a wall or a house. That is all there is to it. The birds are usually loud in the trees nearby while we work.
