You can find Sailaxmi Enterprises in Gopalpur, situated right near the SBI. Having the bank so close is actually pretty convenient for us and for people coming to visit our office. We are a small enterprise, mostly handling local trade and various services that the community needs. The office is pretty basic, with a couple of old desks and some plastic chairs for when people stop by to talk about business. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees or fancy uniforms; it’s just a few of us here trying to keep things moving forward. Gopalpur is a growing area, so we see a lot of new faces lately, but we still have our regulars who have been with us since we first opened our doors. The day usually starts with checking messages and seeing what needs to be delivered or picked up by the afternoon. We don't have a formal dress code or anything corporate like that. We just wear what’s comfortable for working in the heat. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, which can be annoying, but we have a small backup and we just carry on with what we were doing.
