Rewati Brick Field

We are out here on Gonda Road, just about six kilometers away from Baharich. It is a dusty stretch of road, and we spend most of our time dealing with the red clay and the big kilns. It is hard work, mostly depending on the weather. If it rains, everything stops, and we just wait for the ground to dry up again. We have a crew that has been with us for a while now. They know how to stack the bricks just right so they bake evenly. We don't have a fancy office or anything like that. It's just a shed where we keep the books and a place for people to park their tractors when they come to load up. Some days are busier than others, especially when the local builders are starting new projects nearby. We try to keep enough stock ready, but sometimes the demand catches us off guard. It is a simple life, really. You wake up early, check the fires, and make sure the trucks are moving. We have been in this spot for some years, and people around here know where to find us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. There isn't much more to say about it. If you are driving down from Baharich, you will see the smoke from the chimneys before you get to the gate. It is a familiar sight for everyone in this part of the district. We do things the old-fashioned way because it gets the job done.
