Safety Shoes

Our place is located at Plot No. 420-421 in M.I.E. Part I. It’s two plots joined together to give us enough room for all the shoe production. We specifically make safety shoes, so the materials are a bit heavier and tougher than what you’d find in a regular shoe shop. The atmosphere here is very practical. There’s a lot of steel toes and thick rubber soles laying around in stacks. M.I.E. is a busy industrial estate, so there is always noise from the nearby units and trucks passing by on the narrow roads. We’ve been in this spot for a while and have seen the area change. The work we do is pretty straightforward. We take the raw materials, cut them, and stitch them into boots that people use for work. It’s dusty and noisy, but that is just the nature of the business. We don't have any flashy signs or a big lobby. Usually, there’s just a small office near the entrance where we handle the paperwork. The rest of the space is for the workers and the machinery. It gets pretty crowded when a big shipment of leather arrives. We just try to stay organized and get the orders out on time. Most of our neighbors are doing similar industrial work, so everyone understands the grind. It is just a regular workplace where people show up to do their jobs and then go home at the end of the day.
