Everest Footwear Industries

We’ve been here at No. 32/6/2 in Mie Industrial Area Phase 1 for a good long time now. Most days start early before the sun gets too high because the machines make the shop floor pretty warm. It’s a loud place once the assembly lines get moving, but we’re used to the noise. We make different kinds of shoes and sandals for everyday wear. You can see the stacks of rubber and leather piled up near the back door where the trucks come in. Most of our workers live nearby and walk or cycle in every morning. It’s not a fancy office or anything like that. Just a basic industrial shed with some fans and rows of workbenches. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit outside on the steps until the generator kicks in. We handle everything from cutting the soles to boxing them up for the distributors. There’s always dust on the windows and the smell of glue in the air, but that’s just how it is when you’re making footwear all day. We try to keep things organized so we don't lose track of orders, but it gets a bit messy during the busy seasons when everyone wants new stock at once. It’s honest work and keeps us busy from Monday to Saturday. Usually, we wrap things up around six and head home. That's pretty much the daily routine here at Everest Footwear Industries. Nothing too complicated, just making shoes in the industrial zone.
