Vip Travels

If you are ever over by the Gurudwara near Sindhi Colony, you might have seen Vip Travels. We are at Shop No 7, right there on the busy Jalna Road. It is a good spot because everyone knows the landmark. The office is pretty simple. We have a desk, some chairs, and a few maps on the wall that have been there forever. Every morning, we sweep the front and get ready for whoever might come in. Being in Sindhi Colony, we see a lot of the same faces every day. People stop by just to say hello or ask about bus timings. We do a lot of different travel work, mostly just helping folks get their tickets sorted out or finding a vehicle for a family function. The traffic on Jalna Road is always humming in the background. Sometimes the dust from the road gets in, so we are always cleaning the glass. We aren't a big corporate chain or anything like that. It is just a small local operation where we do the work ourselves. We keep a diary of all the bookings and try to make sure we don't miss anything. It's a bit of a juggle sometimes when the phones are ringing and someone is standing at the counter, but we manage. We’ve been part of this neighborhood for years and like being near the temple. It keeps the days interesting for us while we work here on the main road.
