School Taya

School Taya is located over in N 5 Gulmohar Colony, right by the HP Gas Road in Cidco. If you’re coming from the main part of Aurangabad, you probably know how the traffic can get near N 7. Our building is right in the middle of the residential area, so it feels like a part of the neighborhood. It’s not a giant school with miles of grass, just a regular place where kids from the colony and nearby areas come every morning. You can usually hear them shouting during the breaks from a block away. The classrooms are basic with desks that have seen a lot of use over the years. We spend our mornings getting the registers ready and making sure the chalk is stocked up. The heat in Aurangabad gets pretty bad in the afternoons, so we try to keep the fans going as much as we can. There’s a lot of coming and going with parents dropping off lunch boxes or picking up their children after the final bell. It’s a bit cramped sometimes when everyone is in the hallway at once. We don’t have any fancy bells and whistles, just the usual stuff you’d find in a local school. Most of us live nearby too, so we see the families at the market or the gas station. It’s just a normal part of the day-to-day life here in Cidco.
