We are based in Sillod, out in the Aurangabad district. Specifically, you can find Scholar Point Institute of Career & Development Academy over in Shivaji Nagar. We are located right near the Gramin Police Station, so it is a very easy landmark for anyone coming from the surrounding villages or the main part of town. This isn't a big city setup with glass walls; it’s a local place built for the people here in Maharashtra. We know the struggles students face in smaller towns when it comes to getting good resources, so we decided to set this up right here. The atmosphere is pretty relaxed but we try to stay on top of the work. Most of our days are spent at the office handling registrations or answering questions from parents who drop by. Being near the police station means it’s a safe and well-known spot. We’ve lived in Sillod for a long time and we care about how the kids here do. The academy is basically a few rooms where we can sit down and focus on career paths and school work. It’s a bit of a journey for some who come from the outskirts, but we try to make it worth their while. We don't have fancy brochures, just a sign and our reputation in the town. It’s just us doing our part for the local community. We hope the students who come here feel comfortable. There is a tea stall nearby we visit often.
