Samarth Pharma

We've been running Samarth Pharma here on the Main Road in Garkheda for a while now. It's a busy spot in Shivaji Nagar, and there is always someone coming in for something. We spend a lot of our morning just checking what came in and making sure the boxes are put away properly. It gets dusty sometimes because of the traffic outside, but that’s just how it is on a main road. Most days, it is just about helping people find the right strip of tablets or some ointment they need. We don't have a fancy setup, just some shelves and a counter where we keep everything. Sometimes we have to call up a distributor if something is out of stock, which can be a bit of a headache when someone is waiting. It’s a small place, really. People stop by on their way home from work or after seeing the doctor nearby. We know a lot of the faces around here by now. There’s always some noise from the street, and we usually have the fan going to keep it cool inside. We keep the registers and the ledger books updated by hand mostly. It is a simple way of working. We try to keep the lights on until late evening because that’s when most folks are around Garkheda looking for their regular supplies. It isn't a huge operation, just a local shop trying to stay organized. Sometimes we run out of small change for the customers.
