Royal Hotel

Our hotel is located on the Beed By Pass Road in Aurangabad. It is a busy stretch of road since it connects to the main highways. We see a lot of people who are just passing through on their way to other parts of Maharashtra. The building is a plain one, nothing that stands out too much from the road. We have a parking area out front which is usually full of dusty SUVs and bikes. The rooms are basic, just what you need for a night's sleep. We don't have any of those big fancy lobbies with fountains. It is just a desk and some tile floors. We have been here for a few years now. The weather in Aurangabad gets really dry, so we spend a lot of time watering the few plants we have near the entrance. My nephew helps me with the bookkeeping and the laundry. We get our water from a tanker sometimes when the city supply is low. It is one of those things you just deal with when you run a business here. The noise from the bypass never really stops, but after a while, you just stop hearing the trucks. We try to keep the place clean and ready for whoever rolls in off the road. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from dawn till dusk. We check the locks every night and make sure everyone has what they need.
