Hotel Mama Maratha

Hotel Mama Maratha is out on Airport Road in Vinayak Nagar, Nanded. 431731 is the area code. It’s a bit away from the very center of town, which is nice sometimes. We get a mix of people coming from the airport or just traveling through Nanded. The building is easy to spot once you're on Airport Road. We’ve been running this place for a while now. It’s a family-run kind of thing, so you might see my kids running around or my wife helping out at the desk. We don't have a big corporate office telling us what to do. We just decide things as we go. If a lightbulb breaks, I go and change it myself. The rooms are simple and we try to keep them tidy. It can get pretty hot in Nanded, so we spend a lot of time making sure the fans are working right. Vinayak Nagar is a decent neighborhood. We know the people around here and they know us. We don’t have any big speeches about how we work. We just show up every morning, open the gates, and wait for the guests. It’s a lot of routine, but we like it. Sometimes we sit outside in the evening when it’s cooler. It’s just a local hotel on the way to the airport. There’s always someone checking out or in. We just handle the keys.
