Pragati Tours & Travels

Pragati Tours & Travels is based in the CIDCO Colony area of Aurangabad. Specifically, we are at Shop No 20 in the N1 Tapadia Multi Complex. It’s a big complex and we are right on National Highway No 1. Having Anuradha Cinema nearby helps people find us because everyone knows where the theater is. The highway is always humming with trucks and cars, so there’s a constant background noise of engines. We like being in CIDCO because it’s a growing part of the city with a lot of families and businesses. Our shop is just one of many in the complex. We go to work every morning, open the shutters, and start checking our messages. There is a small tea stall around the corner where we usually get our morning chai and talk about the news. Most of our work involves setting up trips for people living in the colony. We don't spend money on big advertisements; people just see our board when they go to the cinema or the market. It’s a straightforward way to run a business. We have some old posters on the wall and a few calendars from previous years that we haven’t taken down yet. The atmosphere is very relaxed. We talk to our customers like they are our neighbors because most of the time they actually are. It’s a good community to be a part of and we enjoy the daily routine.
