Podar International School

Our school is located right on Jalna Road in Sundarwadi. If you know the area, you probably know the Sai Mandir right across from us. It is a very busy spot. We see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. Being on the main road makes it easier for parents to drop their kids off, even if it gets a bit crowded at the gate around eight in the morning. The building itself is straightforward. We have classrooms, a small office for the paperwork, and some space for the kids to run around when the weather is not too hot. It gets quite dusty sometimes because of the road construction nearby. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floors and keeping the windows shut to keep the noise out. Most of our staff live nearby, so they don't have too far to travel. We don't really have a big philosophy or anything. We just follow the schedule and make sure the students are where they are supposed to be. Lunchtime is usually the loudest part of the day. The kids bring their own food and sit together in the hallways or outside. After the final bell rings, the buses line up and it gets chaotic for about twenty minutes. Once they leave, the place gets very still. It is just a regular school doing regular things every day. We focus on the basics and try to keep things organized for everyone involved.
