Green Hornet Farmer Producer Company Limited is located at Po Chiklthana in the Sailu taluka. We operate out of Shantabai Bajirao Jadhav’s place, which is specifically at Gate No. 71. It’s a straightforward farming group. We chose the name because it sounded a bit different, but at the end of the day, we are just a bunch of farmers from the village. We handle our own crops and help our neighbors do the same. The setup isn't anything special, just a place to store some records and have our meetings. We talk about things like the price of diesel, the cost of seeds, and how the monsoon is looking. Sailu can be a tough place to farm when the weather doesn't behave, so we try to support each other. We handle the selling of our produce as a group because it gives us a bit more power when talking to the buyers who come through. It’s a lot of physical labor and many hours spent in the sun, so we don't have much time for fancy office work. We do our best to keep the books in order and make sure everyone gets their fair share of the profits. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We are just real people who grow food and want to make sure our village stays productive. We have lived on this land for generations and we just want to see it do well. It’s hard work, but we wouldn’t do anything else.
