You can find us on the Main Road, right along N.H.-98 here in Daudnagar. Being so close to the highway means there is a constant layer of dust on everything, no matter how much we wipe the counters down. The shop is not far from the post office, so we see the postman passing by every morning on his bicycle. Life on the N.H.-98 is mostly about the sound of heavy trucks rumbling past and the occasional cow wandering across the road. We keep the doors open to let some air in, even if it brings in the heat. Most of our day is spent moving sacks around or counting stock that just arrived. We have been in this part of Daudnagar for quite a while now. The space inside is filled with various items stacked up high, and sometimes it is hard to navigate the narrow aisles. People stop by while they are traveling through or if they live just down the street. We do not have any fancy displays or bright signs. It is just a plain room with shelves and a desk where we handle the money. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when the electricity goes off, just waiting for it to come back on so we can use the computer. It is a simple way to spend the day, just looking after the agency and seeing who comes through the door.
