Our business, Gmp Systech Engineering Pvt. Ltd., is based in the MIDC Industrial Area in Chikalthana. We have units E-46/2/3 and 4. It is a big industrial zone, so there are factories and workshops all around us. The air usually smells like metal and oil, which is pretty standard for this part of town. Our facility is where we handle all the technical work and assembly. It isn't a showroom; it is a place where things get built. We have a lot of tools and parts scattered around, but there is a system to the mess. Most of our workers live nearby and have been with us for years. We do not have a polished sales pitch. We just show people what we are working on and go from there. The MIDC area is always active with trucks moving in and out at all hours. It is a practical place to be for an engineering firm like ours. We spend most of our time on the shop floor rather than in the office. The office itself is just a few desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We do not go in for anything fancy or modern. We just want to make sure the engineering is sound. It is a lot of hard work, but we like it. We are just a local engineering team doing our bit in Chikalthana. Nothing more to it than that.
