Arihant Marble & Granite

Our place is in the Service Inds. Zone over at the Town Centre in Cidco. Unit 2/3 is where we keep all the stock. It is a very industrial area so there are always trucks and forklifts moving around. We have big slabs of granite and marble leaning against the walls. The floor is concrete and always has some stone dust on it. It is not a place for walking around in nice shoes. We spend the day showing contractors what we have in the back. The sun hits the front of the building in the morning and it gets quite warm inside. We have a small fan that doesn't do much. People know us from being in Cidco for some time. We don't have a big sales team or anything like that. It is just a couple of us handling the orders and making sure the deliveries go out to the right sites. Sometimes the inventory is a mess and we have to spend the whole Sunday sorting it out. It is just the way things are in this trade. We keep the gate open during the day and close up once the last truck leaves. It is a practical business without any fluff. We just focus on the stone and hope the traffic isn't too bad when we head home.
