Ajmera Marble And Stone is located at Survey No.-1 in Jawahar Colony. This is in the Garkheda area of Sambhaji Nagar. It is a large plot where we keep all our inventory. The ground is usually covered in stone chips and sand. We have a lot of different varieties of marble and stone just leaning against the walls or stacked on frames. It is a bit of a maze if you don't know your way around. The Sambhaji Nagar heat can be quite intense, so we spend a lot of time in the small shaded spots we have. We aren't big on fancy displays. The stone speaks for itself. We spend our days measuring slabs and helping people load them onto their transport. It is heavy, slow work. You have to be careful not to chip the edges. We’ve been here for a while, and the neighborhood of Jawahar Colony has changed a lot around us. There are more houses now than there used to be. We just keep doing what we do. The Survey No.-1 site is our home base. It’s where we deal with the suppliers and the customers. It is often a bit messy, with water used for cutting and polishing pooling on the ground. But that is just the nature of working with stone every single day. We stay until the last truck is loaded and the gates are shut tight for the night. It is a repetitive but solid way to make a living.
