Durga Traders

We set up shop in the Royal Commercial Complex over in Niyamatpur. Being right on G.T. Road means there is always a lot of noise and trucks going by, which keeps things interesting. We are near the SBI Market area here in Burdwan. The complex is usually busy with people coming and going for all sorts of errands. Our space is mostly storage and a small area where we talk to customers. It is not the fanciest place, just shelves and boxes of whatever we are trading at the time. We have been doing this for a bit now, and we know the local market pretty well. Some days are slow and we just sit around drinking tea, but other days we are moving stuff from morning till night. Dealing with suppliers and transport can be a headache sometimes, especially with the traffic on the main road. We don't bother with fancy displays or anything like that. People know what they need and they come here to find it. It is a practical business. We keep our records in big ledgers and try to make sure everyone gets what they asked for. It gets a bit hot in the summer inside the complex, but we have a fan that helps a little. We like being part of the Niyamatpur trade scene. It is a good spot for us and we plan to stay.
