Anand Traders

Our place is tucked away on A. K. Sarkar Lane in Purulia. It’s one of those narrow streets where everyone knows each other. We’ve been running Anand Traders from this location for quite a bit. It’s not a huge operation, just a small trading business dealing with what the locals need. The building is older, but it serves its purpose. Most mornings start with unlocking the front gate and checking what came in the day before. Purulia can get quite hot in the summers, so we try to get the heavy lifting done early before the heat really sets in. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing team. It’s mostly just us handling the paperwork and moving stock. People walk in from the lane, sometimes just to say hello or ask about prices. We try to keep things simple and honest. If we have it, we tell you. If we don’t, we see when it might come in. Living and working in the same district means you run into your customers at the market or the tea stall. That keeps you on your toes because you can't just hide behind a desk. Doing our work and going home at the end of the day is enough for us. It’s a decent life here on A. K. Sarkar Lane. We like the pace of things in this part of town and the people we see.
