Rocky Chemicals

We have been here at GIDC for quite a while now. Our spot is right near Ficom Chowkdi, so it gets pretty busy with all the trucks moving in and out during the day. Sometimes the traffic is a real headache but that is just how it goes in the industrial estate. Rocky Chemicals isn't a big fancy place, just a regular setup where we get the work done. Most of us have been working together for years. We know the neighbors and the local tea stall guy quite well. It is dusty out here especially in the summer months but we keep the fans going. The address is 4729 and it is easy to find once you get past the main crossing. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. There is always something to move or organize in the yard. It is not always quiet around here with the machines and the loading, but it is a good place to work. We just focus on what needs to be done each day. When it rains, the roads in GIDC get really muddy and it becomes a bit of a mess to get the trucks in. We usually have to spend extra time cleaning up the entrance. Our neighbor, who runs a small workshop, often comes over to borrow some grease or just to chat about the latest news in the estate. Most of our visitors are people who have been coming here for a long time. They know where to find us.
