R. P. Industries

Our company is R. P. Industries and we are located in Panoli, within the GIDC estate. This is a massive industrial area in Gujarat where there are factories for miles. Our unit is just one of many in this zone. We focus on industrial production. The environment here is very practical and no-nonsense. You see a lot of tankers and trucks moving through the gates at all hours of the day and night. The air often smells like chemicals or smoke depending on what the neighbors are making on that particular day. Inside our gate, it’s mostly the sound of the machines running and the clinking of metal. We have a small area for the staff to rest and a tiny office for the supervisor. We don't have any flashy signs or big showrooms to attract people. Most of the people working here live in the nearby towns and commute every day on their scooters. We start the shift early and follow the same routine day after day. It’s hard work and the floor gets quite greasy and hot during the afternoon. We don't have any big brochures or fancy language to describe ourselves. We are just an industrial unit doing our bit in Panoli. We maintain our equipment as best as we can and try to avoid any major breakdowns. When something breaks, we usually fix it ourselves. It's a straightforward way of life. We focus on the output and making sure the lorries are loaded correctly.
