At Patel Oils Chemicals Private Limited, things are always moving. The roads around here can get pretty congested with all the big tankers and trucks coming through, so you have to be careful when you’re pulling in. Our team is small but they know their stuff when it comes to oils and chemical products. We spend most of our time out on the floor rather than sitting behind desks. There’s always a leak to fix or a drum to label. It’s dirty work sometimes, and our uniforms definitely show it by the end of the shift. We’ve been here for years, through the ups and downs of the local economy. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person telling us what to say. We just talk to people plainly and tell them what we have in stock. If we don’t have it, we’ll tell you straight. The office is a bit cramped and full of old ledgers, but we like it that way. It feels like home. Being in the heart of the industrial area means there's always something going on. We’ve made friends with the guys at the other units, and we often help each other out with tools or advice. It’s a real community.
