Paliwal Engineering Works

Our workshop is located at Plot No. C 1/703-2 in the GIDC Industrial Estate. If you’re driving down Purohit Hotel Road, you’ll find us easily enough. Paliwal Engineering Works is where we spend most of our waking hours. It’s an industrial area, so it’s noisy and dusty, but that’s where the real work happens. We do a lot of fabrication and repair work. The shop floor is usually covered in metal shavings and oil, which is how an engineering place should look, I guess. We’ve got a few old machines that still work better than the new ones. It’s not a shiny corporate office. We wear work clothes and we get our hands dirty every day. People come to us when they need something built or when a part of their own machinery snaps. We don't use big words or fancy brochures. We just look at the metal and decide the best way to cut or weld it. The GIDC is a big place, but we’ve made some good friends with the neighbors over the years. We take our work seriously, even if we don't act all professional in the suit-and-tie sense. It’s just honest labor. We’ve been on this plot for a long time and we don't plan on moving anywhere else soon. It’s just how we operate, day in and day out.
