You can find Marck & Aira Engineers at 122 / 123 in Anmol Plaza. Being in a plaza means we’re surrounded by other businesses, so there’s always people coming and going in the hallways. It’s a bit different than being in a stand-alone factory or a shed. Our space is divided into a small office area and a workspace where we handle our engineering tasks. We’ve been here long enough that the security guards and the other shop owners in the building all know us by name. The commute to the plaza can be a bit of a pain during the evening rush hour, but that’s just how life is in the city. Inside our units, it’s usually a mess of blueprints, old catalogs, and some tools scattered around the desks. We do a lot of planning and technical work here. It’s not always glamorous work. Sometimes we spend hours just checking measurements or looking over designs on the computer. We don’t have a fancy lobby with a coffee machine or leather chairs. If you visit, we’ll probably just offer you a stool or a spare chair. The lighting in the plaza isn’t always the best, but we’ve got our own bright lamps for the detailed work. We’re a small group of people who just like solving mechanical problems. It’s a steady job and we’ve made a lot of friends in the building over the years. We just try to do right by the people we work with.
