Welkin Engineering Company

We’ve been here at Gidc Estate for quite a while now. If you walk into our unit at 255256, you’ll mostly hear the sound of machines running and people talking over the noise. It isn't a fancy office with carpets and quiet corners. Most of us have grease on our hands by noon. Welkin Engineering Company is really just a group of people who know their way around metal and fabrication. We spend our days looking at drawings, measuring things twice, and making sure the parts fit like they are supposed to. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big order comes in or a machine decides to act up right before a deadline. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the job at hand. The GIDC area is always busy, with trucks coming and going, and we’re right in the middle of that heat and dust. It’s what we know. We’ve seen the estate change over the years, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We show up, we do the machining or whatever the client needs, and we head home. It’s practical work. Sometimes there are mistakes, but we fix them and move on to the next task. It is just how a workshop like ours functions day in and day out. There’s always another pile of material waiting and another set of specs to check before the sun goes down.
