Standard Chemicals is right over by Crystal Chokdi at Plot No. 1815. If you’re looking for us, we’re the ones near the corner. We also use Post Box No. 168 for our mail, though we don’t get much these days besides bills. The work here is pretty steady. We deal with various chemicals and it requires a lot of attention. You can’t really rush this kind of thing or you’ll make a mistake. We spend our time checking the labels and moving drums around with the trolley. It’s physical work and by the end of the day, we’re all pretty tired. The area around Crystal Chokdi gets very busy during rush hour, so we try to get our deliveries out early in the morning. We have a small office that’s always a bit of a mess with papers everywhere. We aren’t big on filing things perfectly as long as we can find what we need. It’s just a simple business without any bells and whistles. We’ve been operating from this plot for years. The neighbors know us and we know them. We don’t try to be anything we’re not. We just run Standard Chemicals the best way we know how. It’s about showing up every day and making sure everything is handled properly before we head home to our families.
