Operating out of Plot No. 6405 is a bit of a daily grind but we have grown to like it that way. This is where we handle all the dye-chem stuff that comes through our hands. The plot is big enough for our current needs, though it definitely feels a lot smaller when we have a big shipment arriving at the gate. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved and the drums are quite heavy to move around by hand without a lot of help. We try to keep things organized, but in a place like this, things tend to get messy pretty quickly during a busy shift. The lights inside are a bit dim in some of the back corners, so we often use portable lamps when we need to look closely at the chemical mixtures. It is a straightforward setup with no extra frills. We do not have a marketing team or a fancy website because we are too busy actually doing the physical work. People who need our services usually just know where Plot 6405 is located. The neighborhood is mostly other industrial units, so there is a constant hum of engines and workers shouting to be heard. We take our tea breaks together and talk about the daily news or what is happening back in the village. It is a tight-knit group of workers here and we look out for each other when things get difficult. Sometimes the rain leaks in through a small gap in the roof, but we have got a plastic bucket for that. It is just how it goes in an industrial area.
