You can find Shriji Dyestuff Pvt. Ltd. over at 5906/3a in the Gidc area. If you’ve ever been to Gidc, you know it’s all industrial. There’s always the smell of something being made in the air. We deal with dyestuffs, so things can get a bit messy around here. Our clothes usually have a bit of color on them by the end of the shift. It’s just part of the job. The facility at 5906/3a is mostly storage and processing space. We have big drums and vats. It’s not a place for a suit and tie, that’s for sure. The sun beats down on the metal roof during the summer, so it gets quite hot inside for the workers. We have some fans, but they only do so much to cool us down. We’ve been operating out of this Gidc plot for quite some time now. We know the neighbors and the truck drivers who come through every week. It’s hard work and the hours can be long sometimes. We don't have a fancy website or a PR person. We just focus on getting the dyes right. Sometimes the batches take longer than expected. We just stick with it until the task is done. It’s a simple, blue-collar kind of life here. We don't make any big claims. We just make the dyes and send them out to whoever needs them. That’s our day at 5906/3a.
