Working at Shree Ganesh Pigments Pvt. Ltd. means you're going to go home with some color on your hands. Plot No. A1-405 is where we do everything. It’s a sturdy building, but it shows its age in a few spots. We’ve got bags of pigment stacked up almost to the ceiling sometimes. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff around to get it ready for shipping. The trucks come in and out of the gate all day, and sometimes they block the narrow road outside. Our neighbors don't mind too much because they're doing the same thing. We have a small office tucked away in the corner where the phone rings more than it probably should. Most of the time, we’re out on the floor making sure the batches are turning out right. There isn't much to say about the decor because we don't have any. It’s just concrete floors and heavy machinery. We keep a cooler of water near the back door for the guys. When it rains, the sound on the metal roof is so loud you can't hear yourself think. But we just keep working through it. We aren't doing anything fancy here, just making pigments and getting them where they need to go. It’s a steady life, and we’re used to the routine by now. We just get on with the day.
