We’ve been running Shiv Shakti Chloride Chemicals from Plot No. 5018 for some time now. Dealing with chemicals means you have to be careful and follow a specific routine every single day. Our plot is tucked away, but it’s a busy spot once you get inside the gate. There is always the smell of industrial work in the air, which we’ve all gotten used to. We have different sections for storage and the actual processing. It’s a bit of a maze if you don’t know your way around. The guys who work here are experts at what they do, even if they don't have fancy titles. We just call each other by name and get the tasks done. The equipment is older but it works well because we take care of it ourselves. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you come by, you’ll likely find someone in overalls who can help you out. We handle a lot of chloride-related products, so safety is always on our minds, even if we don't talk about it in a corporate way. It’s just common sense for us. The floor is usually stained from years of work, but that’s just part of the history of this place. We stay busy from Monday to Saturday and usually spend Sundays resting up for the next week. It’s a solid, honest way to make a living in this industrial area.
