Maruti Chemical

We are located at Plot No. 4801-A-1, which is right at the start of the block. Maruti Chemical has been here for a bit now, and we’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the street. Being at A-1 means we see everyone coming and going. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when two trucks try to pass each other right in front of our gate, but we manage. The inside of our place is mostly just shelves and drums. We try to keep a clear path down the middle so we can move the hand trolley through. The air always smells a bit like sulfur or something similar depending on what we are working on that day. We have an old fan that makes a lot of noise but doesn't do much cooling, so we mostly just sweat it out in the summer. No one here wears a suit; we are all in work clothes that usually have a few spots of something or other on them. We don't have any big speeches about our values or anything. We just show up, do the work, and make sure the customers get what they asked for. It’s a simple business and we like it that way. Sometimes we stay late to finish a big order, but usually, we’re out by six to beat the worst of the traffic.
