Khushbu Chemical Industries

We have been operating out of Plot No. 6810 for quite a while now. It is a busy little corner of the industrial area. Khushbu Chemical Industries isn't one of those places with a glass front or a receptionist sitting at a desk. It is mostly just us working with chemical drums and pipes. Some days are really long, especially when the supply trucks show up late and we have to stay to get everything unloaded. We keep our work boots by the side door so we don't track too much dirt into the small room where we keep the files. The concrete floor stays pretty cool even when the sun is beating down on the roof. We handle all sorts of chemicals here. There is usually a sharp kind of smell in the air, but after you’ve worked here for a week, you don't even notice it anymore. Most of the men have been working here since the day we opened the gates. We usually take our tea breaks on that old wooden bench near the gate. It is a very simple setup. There isn't much to look at from the road, just a plain wall and a sign. We just get the work done. People ask what exactly we are making, and we just tell them it's the stuff that goes into making other things. We keep all our logs in these big ledgers. The front gate squeaks loudly every time it opens. We keep saying we will oil it, but we always seem to forget. It is just how things are here at 6810.
