Jay Engineers is located at Plot No. 5003-2, right next door to the other industrial units in the block. It’s not a huge facility, but we make the most of the space we have. The layout is mostly taken up by lathes and milling machines that have been the backbone of the shop for years. It’s a place where the air always has that sharp metallic scent. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It is just a handful of us who know how to read the drawings and turn the metal into whatever is needed. The workbench is always cluttered with calipers, bits, and scraps of metal from the last project. Sometimes it feels like we are constantly sweeping up shavings, but that’s just part of the trade. We don't spend money on advertising or making the front of the building look special. Most people who come here are looking for practical solutions to mechanical problems. The work is repetitive sometimes, but it requires a lot of focus to make sure the tolerances are correct. We have a small corner for drinking water and a bench where we sit for lunch. It’s a simple life of measuring, cutting, and finishing. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a local engineering shop trying to keep up with the orders that come through the gate every week.
