Shiv Engineering

Shiv Engineering is tucked away at Plot No. 1018-4. It’s not the biggest shop in the area, but we have enough room for our lathes and the other tools we use daily. We mostly do engineering job work, which means every day is a bit different depending on what someone brings in. One day it’s a small part for a machine, and the next day it might be something much heavier. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning; we spend most of our time out on the floor where the action is. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay on task. We aren't really into big promises or polished sales pitches. We just look at the drawings or the broken part and tell them if we can do it. Sometimes we have to hunt for the right materials, but we usually find what we need around the estate. The shop is a bit cluttered with metal shavings and old tools, but we know where everything is. It’s a small team here, so everyone has to do a bit of everything. We’ve been at this plot for a while now and we know the rhythms of the street. It’s just us doing engineering work the way we learned it, without any extra fuss. We keep the machines oiled and the lights on until the work is finished for the day.
