We have two plots, Plot No. 1103 and 1104, so there is plenty of room for all the plastic stuff we handle at Inter Plastica Pvt. Ltd. Having the extra space is nice, though it just means there is more floor to sweep at the end of the shift. Plastic is funny because it comes in so many shapes and smells. When the machines are running hot, the whole place has this specific scent that you just get used to. We have stacks of bins everywhere. Some are full of raw material and others have the finished bits ready to go. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby. If you walk in, you’re likely to just see one of us hauling a bag or checking a gauge. We like it that way. It’s a hands-on kind of business. The guys in the back usually have the radio playing, though you can barely hear it over the hum of the blowers. We’ve had some of the same customers since we opened up. They don't come for a fancy experience; they come because they know we are here and we know our business. Sometimes we stay late when a big order comes in, and we just order some food and keep the lights on. It’s hard work, but it feels good to see the trucks leave full. That’s our life here.
