Ganesh Fibc is based at Plot No. A1-1405-A and also covers 605-608. It’s quite a bit of space because making those big industrial bags takes up a lot of room. We have rows and rows of sewing machines and large cutting tables. The air is always full of that faint plastic smell from the polypropylene fabric we use. It’s a noisy place with all the machines running at once, so you have to talk a bit louder to be heard over the hum. We employ a lot of local folks who are really good with their hands. Most of the day is spent checking the stitching and making sure the loops are strong enough to hold a ton of weight. We have high ceilings to stack the finished bags before they get shipped out to customers. The loading dock is usually a mess of forklift activity around 4 PM. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. If you come by, you’ll probably find someone in the warehouse first. The office is just a couple of desks near the front where we keep the invoices and shipping manifests. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but we try to keep the atmosphere light for everyone. We’ve been at these plots for several years now, and the routine hasn't changed much, which is fine by us.
