Hemani Industries Ltd. takes up Plot No. 3207 and 3208. Having two plots gives us a bit more breathing room than some of our neighbors, but it also means there is more to manage. You can see the big storage tanks from the street. It’s an industrial life through and through. We spend our mornings checking the pressure valves and making sure the shifts are starting on time. The area around Plot 3207 is always thick with the sound of engines and the smell of production. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We are just a team of people making things. Sometimes the trucks are late, or the raw materials don't show up, and we have to scramble. That’s just part of the job. The lunch break is usually the quietest time, when everyone sits under the few trees we have or inside the canteen. We don't have any big corporate manifestos. We just have a lot of work to do and two plots of land to do it on. The weather can be tough, especially when the monsoon hits and we have to worry about the drainage. But we've been here long enough to handle it. It's a solid place with good people who know their business inside and out. We keep our paperwork simple and our gate open for the workers arriving on their cycles every morning.
