You’ll find Deep Chem over at Plot No. 6007-4, right near the Rokadia Chokdi in the Gidc Estate. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know where the crossroads are. We do a lot of chemical work here, mostly stuff that comes in big plastic containers. The air always has a bit of a sharp smell to it, but that’s normal for a place like this. We’ve got a small crew, just a few of us who know how to handle the stuff we make. The floor is concrete and stays cool even when it’s boiling outside, which is a relief. We don’t have any fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name and the plot number on the wall. We spend most of the morning checking the tanks and making sure everything is flowing like it should. Lunch breaks are usually taken on the benches outside if the weather isn't too bad. We get a lot of deliveries throughout the week, so there’s always someone checking the gate. It’s a straightforward operation. We don’t do a lot of talking; we just get the batches done and move them to the loading bay. Sometimes the trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes around here, which can be a real headache. But we manage. It’s just how life is in the estate. We keep things simple and try to finish our tasks before the evening traffic starts.
